"Second Look" for Spinal Cord Injuries

Our Second Look program was designed by our team of experts in SCI, lead by David Chen, MD, Medical Director, SCI Program. Dr. Chen has over 25 years of experience in treating spinal cord injuries and is one of the most renowned medical experts in his field. Dr. Chen and his team will evaluate any individual with a spinal cord injury to assess their current situation and make ecommendations for next steps in treatment.  A "second look" is recommended every 18-24 months for all people with spinal cord injury.

A comprehensive medical evaluation is an integral component of Second Look, and it generally includes assessment and recommendations for preventing and managing secondary medical conditions and complications associated with spinal cord injury.
