About Me

Kelly is a graduate student pursuing her MS in Biomedical Engineering. She received her BS in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois Chicago. With experience in histology and imaging, her research is focused on quantifying the necrotic core in spinal cord organoids and investigating methods to mitigate its growth. She is also interested in exploring organoid grafts as a novel method for the generation of neuromuscular junctions. Kelly loves painting, illustration and reading books of all kinds.
