Building and Testing a Mobile Real-Time Caring Message Intervention for Loneliness and Social Isolation in Persons with SCI/D

The aim of this research is to develop a digital strategy to predict and help counter feelings of loneliness in people with spinal cord injuries. We will develop a smartphone app, recruit participants to test it and then evaluate the app’s usability and initial efficacy in lessening feelings of loneliness in people with SCI-related disabilities. This research is funded by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation.
